I have been working in a clinic since I was 16. Then, I attended Thompson Rivers University to become a technician (where I met and adopted Nixon), and we graduated TRU in 2016. In school, I received the large animal award after finding my love of working with cattle at Douglas Lake Ranch. Similarly to cattle, emergency medicine has a lot of unpredictability, which keeps it exciting. I am currently working towards attaining my ECC specialty.
I have travelled to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to participate in spay and neuter missions and hope to help abroad again one day soon! Outside the clinic, I am usually found playing rugby, football, baseball, backpacking or any other outdoor adventure with this guy!
