Alana has worked in the veterinary field since 2012, developing a passion for the industry and our furry, scaly, and feathery friends that we share this planet with! Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Alana enjoys working with animal charities and wildlife rescue services. She prides herself on her ability to comfort patients and their humans during difficult times and enjoys seeing those families embrace their furry family members at the end of their often emotional stay at CIVEH.
When she’s not at the hospital, she’s dirt biking, or you can often find her roaming the beaches on this beautiful island we call home with her husky Eleanor, and her pitbull rescue Eden.
