Emma graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in Spring 2021. Originally from coastal Norway, she made the decision to move to BC to be closer to family and the ocean after spending many years landlocked on the prairies living in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. She worked in mixed animal practice on Vancouver Island before deciding to follow her dream of working in emergency medicine and joining the team at CIVEH. Her professional interests include surgery, exotic and pocket pets, and developing her ultrasound skills!
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending her time hiking with both her little black cat (Almond) and young dog (Scallop), kayaking, and baking.
